The AutoCAD Electrical Drafting Technician is responsible for developing electrical diagrams for electricity generation, transmission, and distribution facilities, working closely with the engineers in charge of the project.

They ensure the quality of deliverables, compliance with energy sector standards, and the standardization and optimization of design processes.

In addition, the drafting technician may be called upon to participate in workshop tests to validate certain equipment or assemblies.

The following responsibilities form the core of this role in our Canadian team.

   Produce the electrical diagrams and technical drawings required for control panels and power plant installations.
   Ensure that all drawings comply with applicable standards.
   Work closely with the engineers to ensure the consistency and integrity of electrical systems.
   Maintain, update, and improve the symbol libraries and drawing standards.
   Ensure the traceability, management, and rigorous archiving of technical drawings using Autodesk Vault.
   Participate in workshop testing when required to validate certain equipment, panels, or assemblies.
