Position Overview

The Assistant Construction Program Manager supports the planning, execution, and administration of healthcare construction and facility development projects. Working closely with Program Managers and project stakeholders, this role assists with project documentation, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and project coordination to help ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in developing a career in healthcare construction, development, and program management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers in the planning, execution, and administration of healthcare construction projects
  • Assist with project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement activities, and financial tracking
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, reports, meeting materials, and correspondence
  • Coordinate project meetings, maintain action item logs, and distribute meeting minutes
  • Support contractor, consultant, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist with permitting, bidding, contract administration, invoicing, payment applications, and project closeout activities
  • Attend project meetings, site visits, and stakeholder meetings as needed
  • Create presentations, project reports, and marketing materials for internal and external audiences
  • Support departmental initiatives, business development efforts, and special projects
Requirements:


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred
  • Previous construction, development, project management, or related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
