Job description

Job Summary:
Supervises and coordinates the on-site construction activities for assigned subdivision. Monitors the completion of each construction phase through coordination, scheduling, and inspection of each home. Ensures quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction in accordance with Company goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct construction activities on the building site.
  • Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of development and construction.
  • Supervision of all phases of construction and all personnel as assigned.
  • Approves work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues.
  • Authorizes payment of subcontractors upon thorough inspection of work.
  • Conduct pre-construction meeting with Homebuyers.
  • Conduct homeowner orientation walks ensuring homeowner satisfaction.
  • Management of all inspections.
  • Recognize and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of homes under construction.
  • Monitors subdivision cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.
  • Follow up with homeowners to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with appropriate sales team members, estimating, purchasing, and architectural co-workers.
  • Execute company policies and enforces uniformity on construction methods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Manage and maintain safety according to OSHA on every site.
  • Control expenses to eliminate cost overruns and change orders.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • 5+ years' experience in the construction industry
  • 2+ years' experience in build-out construction preferred
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and associated software
  • Experience working on smartphones and tablets
  • CAD experience a plus
  • Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
