Position Summary

The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role is essential in maintaining product quality by performing detailed inspections, documenting results, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Identify and process non-conforming materials by tagging, documenting, and placing them in quarantine while coordinating with the appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare product packaging, generate barcode labels, and complete required documentation to ensure product traceability.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S and workplace safety practices.
  • Assist other Quality Control Inspectors with inspections and quality-related tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support quality assurance initiatives.
