Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production area. - Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas. - Perform routine pre and post-operational forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. - Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks. - Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, including quantities, locations, and timestamps. - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or production floor. - Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor. - Adhere to company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and safety. - Participate in training programs to stay updated on forklift operation best practices.
Qualifiations: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid forklift operator certification/license. - Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or production environment. - Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures. - Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of environments, including narrow aisles and tight spaces. - Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of forklift operation. - Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
