Job Description Summary:
Administers anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, monitors vital signs, and adjusts anesthesia levels as necessary.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
  • Administers anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Monitors patients' vital signs and adjusts anesthesia levels as needed.
  • Collaborates with surgeons and other medical professionals to develop an anesthesia plan for each patient.
  • Provides pre-operative consultations to patients to discuss anesthesia options and potential risks.
  • Documents patients' medical histories and anesthesia administration details.
  • Responds to emergencies during surgical procedures, such as cardiac arrest or respiratory distress.

Education Requirement:
ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology, required.

Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, and pain medicine, required.
