Job description

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in educational and pediatric settings for a unique, super part-time contract opportunity this Extended School Year (ESY) season. This role supports one student, age 20, who utilizes AAC (specifically PECS) for communication, providing focused and individualized speech therapy sessions. Work is available near Delaware, OH, with scheduling flexibility to fit your summer plans.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active, current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Background in school-based or healthcare SLP, particularly with pediatric or adolescent populations
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with AAC devices and systems, especially PECS
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted speech therapy for one student using AAC, ensuring interventions align with IEP goals
  • Adapt materials and communication strategies to foster effective learning and engagement
  • Maintain clear, concise session notes and progress documentation
  • Collaborate with other educational professionals or family members as needed

Schedule Details:

  • One hour per week during the following periods: June 8-26, July 13-31
  • Hours available between 9am-3pm; select any hour and day each week that fits your availability
