Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and youth-focused Senior Case Manager to oversee case management in workforce development programs in the Greater Harrisburg Area. The Senior Case Manager will ensure youth receive high-quality case management, career readiness services, and connections to education, training, and employment opportunities. The Senior Case Manager will collaborate with a team of case managers, providing direct supervision, coaching, and oversight of service delivery while helping maintain a trauma-informed, youth-centered approach across all programming.

This position plays a key role in ensuring program compliance, staff development, and positive outcomes for youth participants.


Key Responsibilities


Case Management & Career Services (50%)
  • Ensure high-quality case management services are delivered to youth participants.
  • Review case files and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Support staff in developing individualized service plans with youth participants.
  • Monitor participant progress toward educational, employment, and life goals.
  • Oversee delivery of career exploration, job readiness training, and employment placement services.
Supervision (20%)
  • Supervise, coach, and support a small team of case managers and career service staff.
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings and professional development planning.
  • Provide guidance on complex participant cases and help staff develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Foster a supportive, trauma-informed culture within the case management team.
Participant Support & Crisis Management (10%)
  • Provide guidance on supporting youth experiencing barriers such as housing instability, justice involvement, and educational disruption.
  • Assist staff in addressing crises and complex participant needs.
  • Collaborate with community partners, schools, training providers, and social service organizations.
Program Operations & Compliance (20%)
  • Ensure program services meet contractual and regulatory requirements (e.g., WIOA or other workforce programs when applicable).
  • Monitor data entry, reporting, and documentation systems.
  • Support program leadership with performance tracking and outcome improvement.

Qualifications


Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, education, or a related field. Master’s degree in social work (LCSW) or a related field preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in case management, youth services, workforce development, or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain detailed records and complete required reporting.
  • Experience with workforce development programs such as WIOA preferred.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
