Job description

Description A Senior Broker in the Shipowners Practice serves as the primary liaison between insurers and clients. This person is responsible for managing major client relationships, deploying placement expertise and assisting Marine North America in achieving its revenue growth targets. The individual will support the Marine North America team by managing a more complex book of business in the large middle market and global account space. Will assist the practice in hitting its new revenue targets through development of the pipeline and participating in RFP's.

The individual will also be responsible for client-related documentation including but not limited to policies, endorsements, quote comparisons and required compliance forms. All functions should be performed collaboratively with the greater team. Performance Objectives: + Marketing and placement for large middle market and complex global accounts, + Direct client communication/calls/meetings etc. + Function as a resource on Shipowner's accounts within the practice, provide technical expertise + Maintain a book of business + Perform policy contract reviews + Issue accurate policy and other documentation + Contribute to business growth objectives (e.g., participate in RFP responses/presentations, attend proactive sales meetings, place new business opportunities) + Assist in achieving the goals and objectives of the North American Marine Practice + Collaborate with other LOBs to cross sell products and services + Maintain and develop relationships with insurance carriers' partners + Foster relationships with existing and prospective clients + Learn and utilize WTW software and systems - ECLIPSE, EPIC, and RADAR where necessary Qualifications The Requirements + High school diploma required. College degree preferred + More than 7 years insurance broking and/or underwriting experience + Insurance broker's P&C license required + Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills + Excellent problem-solving skills + Exceptional time management and organizational skills with a track record of success working against tight deadlines + Ability to work collaboratively with others + Must demonstrate attention to detail + Ability to conduct research + Must demonstrate core competency of WTW Values & Vision Compensation and Benefits Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation.

Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only). Compensation The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $180,000-$210,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
