    Job description

Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver-The World's Most Experienced Driver™-to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo's fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.
Waymo's Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams are making the technology of the future a reality. We handle all production processes and supplier development strategies: from contracts and purchasing, to designs for improved manufacturing, through quality control and delivery. We collaborate actively with Waymo engineering teams as well as external suppliers and partners to make sure everything is built to spec and delivered on time to meet the rising demands of our business.
This role follows a hybrid work schedule and you will report to the Head of Global Aftermarket Distribution
    You will:

    • Be the first point of contact for all Waymo's service centers globally whether operated by Waymo or Waymo's fleet operating partners on any topic related to Aftermarket parts
    • Communicate supply plans to all of Waymo's suppliers globally including our OEM partners and align on supply fulfillment plan to ensure there are no shortages in parts supply
    • Build complex models including AI Agents for forecasting, reports & analyses. These will be inputs to presentations that you will prepare and present on behalf of the Aftermarket team at executive reviews.
    • Work closely with our Warehousing team and 3PL managing the warehouses to ensure close collaboration between Planning & Warehousing
    • Manage key aftermarket operations with the potential to build and lead a dedicated team of direct reports as business needs evolve

    You have:
    • BA/BS degree required with 10+ years of work experience as a Demand and Supply Planner or a similar role in high-tech or automotive companies
    • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
    • Intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking and strong project management skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
    • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations and exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
    • Excellent organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion

    We prefer:
    • Post graduate degree with excellent academic record; MBA, PhD or relevant advanced professional degree is preferred
    • Vast knowledge in SAP
    • Coding background is a plus
    • Prior management consulting experience is a plus
