    PLUMBING SERVICE SALES MANAGER

    Santa Ana, CA | Onsite | Full-Time

    Position Overview

    Our Client has over 20 years of experience protecting thousands of residential, commercial, and government properties through an innovative patented pipe restoration process. We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Sales Manager to lead our service operations, oversee field teams, drive sales performance, optimize scheduling, and ensure exceptional customer service while growing the plumbing service division.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in plumbing service operations, team management, sales, and operational efficiency.


    Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee daily operations of the plumbing service department, including scheduling, dispatch, inventory control, and sales processes.

    • Manage multiple service teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

    • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to coordinate service delivery and resolve field-related issues.

    • Monitor inventory, tools, vehicles, and equipment to maximize productivity and control costs.

    • Maintain a strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems.

    • Prepare and review project estimates, approve invoices, and manage departmental budgets.

    • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

    • Evaluate current service and warranty teams, making adjustments as needed to improve customer satisfaction, productivity, and revenue.

    • Train, mentor, and coach technicians on customer service, technical excellence, and consultative sales techniques.

    • Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians as needed.

    • Coordinate scheduling to maximize technician utilization and minimize cancellations.

    • Build strong working relationships with field teams to understand strengths, identify opportunities for improvement, and foster professional development.

    • Clearly communicate all service offerings and restoration processes while promoting additional services through a consultative sales approach.

    • Provide leadership by knowing when to directly assist technicians and when to coach from the background to encourage growth and independence.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.


    QualificationsEducation
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience
    • Minimum of 6 years of plumbing industry experience required.

    • Proven experience managing teams of five or more employees within a plumbing service environment.

    • Strong knowledge of plumbing service operations, scheduling, dispatch, estimating, and customer service.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

    • Experience managing departmental budgets and operational metrics.

    • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.

    • High level of integrity and professionalism.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.

    • Ability to successfully pass a background check.

    • Previous mentoring or coaching experience preferred.

    • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch/service management software such as Housecall Pro.

    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Compensation: $105,000โ€“$110,000 annually, depending on experience.
