    Job Summary:

    The Gear Movement Specialist is responsible for transporting ski and snowboard gear between all Vail Resorts Retail operated locations.  Loads, unloads, and drives the vehicle.  Accounts for all gear in-transit via tracking system.

    Job Specifications:

    • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $29.22/hr
    • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 
    • Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
    • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
    • Housing Availability: Yes 

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Transport skis, snowboards, boots, and accessories between the warehouse, retail/ rental stores, ski valets, and tune shops using company vehicles.
    • Load and unload equipment safely to prevent damage
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory in transit.
    • Communicate with store and warehouse teams to coordinate delivery schedules
    • Assist with other logistics or inventory tasks as needed.
    • Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
    • Be able to drive in winter weather conditions, nighttime driving conditions and heavy traffic.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move large rolling racks of skis and snowboards safely
    • Ability to work a flexible work schedule; weekends and holidays required

    The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $29.22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
