Title: TMS Technician (Medical Assistant)

Position Summary

Evolve Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant who is interested in expanding their clinical skills within the field of behavioral health.

No prior Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, eager to learn, and passionate about providing exceptional care to individuals receiving treatment for depression and other mental health conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments under the supervision of a licensed provider.
  • Prepare patients for treatment sessions and explain the TMS process.
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and promptly report any concerns or changes to the provider.
  • Document treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks).
  • Schedule and coordinate TMS appointments.
  • Maintain and clean TMS equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and office protocols.
  • Assist providers with clinical and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Take and document vital signs when appropriate.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to all office policies and safety procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and supportive patient experience.
  • Qualifications

    Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced outpatient environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic medical records.
  • Compassionate, professional, and patientcentered approach to care.
