    Position Overview:

    The Toolmaker will report to the Tooling Manager and Supervisor. The position involves a high degree

    of interface with all departments and plants. Tasks range from the creation of simple to complex tools,

    e.g. progressive, single stage tools, molds, drill fixtures, etc. The position involves a high degree of

    professionalism when interacting within the Tiffany& Co. NPI, Manufacturing and LVMH groups.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures

      for your position, as well as all safety procedures required at your

      worksite.

    • Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor.

    • Partner with the Toolroom Manager to ensure daily production capabilities

      and surface concerns to Management when maximum efficiencies are not

    being met. 

    • Contribute to meeting request dates per production plans.

    • Participate in Toolroom activities related to new product development and implementation into production. 

    • Set up and operate manual and CNC milling machines. Lathes, grinders etc. 

    • Fixture design and fabrication, production support. 

    • Assist and propose continuous improvement opportunities to minimize labor and reduce costs.

    • Fabricate samples to support new product development. 

    • Arrive at sound technical decisions collaboratively with Management, tool room staff and other internal customers. Understand, communicate, and support Quality standards required by Tiffany & Company in order to achieve on time delivery and ensure the highest possible quality results.

    • Participates in 5S activities and ensures a clean and safe work environment is maintained. Build partnerships within and across departments to provide efficiency and create a supportive work environment

    Required Qualifications:

    • Technically proficient in understanding Tooling, Toolroom processes and the ability to read and understand technical prints 

    • Proficiency operating manual toolroom equipment 

    • CAD/CAM experience, Familiarity with DRO operated equipment 

    • High school diploma or GED 

    • Demonstrated ability to read and write English at an intermediate level 

    • Basic Math Skills 

    • Ability to train, motivate and provide direction

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Some college, or bachelor's degree; Bilingual in Spanish, a plus 

    • Rhino, Solidworks, Mastercam experience 

    • Experience in Micro-milling and machining metals 

    • Progressive and/or single operation tooling experience
