Ashton North is conducting a confidential search for a
Material Handler to join a growing manufacturing operation in the Cleveland area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.

What You'll Do
As a Material Handler, you'll play a key role in keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently by ensuring materials are received, stored, moved, and shipped accurately and safely.
Responsibilities include:
- Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a continuous flow of materials to production lines.
- Stage, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse and production locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including palletizing and packaging large orders.
- Perform inventory transactions using ERP systems, barcode scanners, and handheld devices.
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and material handling best practices.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Forklift experience with prior certification or training.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrap equipment, banding equipment, and other warehouse machinery.
- Comfortable lifting, moving, and transporting materials throughout the facility.
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and computerized inventory systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
