Job description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Interfaces with customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design or manufacturing processes through the use of Siemens CAD/CAM tools and integration of AI technologies. Expectations include...

  • Designs and implements AI-driven automation solutions with Siemens CAD/CAM tools, including LLM-based workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and intelligent scripting pipelines
  • Bridges mechanical engineering domain expertise with modern AI capabilities to deliver innovative solutions, prototypes, and customer-facing applications
  • Experience working in an enterprise organization utilizing Siemens CAD/CAM tools
  • Ability to interface directly with customers to improve production deployments
  • Ability to work directly with the software development team to improve the core products
  • Ability to influence product direction through software and engineering innovation
  • Assists other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale applications
  • Responsible for in-depth technical papers, presentations, and proposals to customer management and stakeholders
  • Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers
  • Works without supervision on the most complex projects with latitude for independent judgment
  • Advanced knowledge of the field

The pay range for this position is 154,200 - 277,600 annually with a target incentive of 10-15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
