    Automotive Mechanic

    Full-time

    Job description

AUTO MECHANIC / AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN — WINDBER, PAWindber has a special talent: turning perfectly normal vehicles into rolling mysteries that defy science.

In Windber, cars don’t just “need a little work.”
They show up looking like they’ve survived a coalcountry obstacle course, a backroad rally race, and a Sheetz run gone horribly wrong — all before 9 AM.

You’ll see trucks that have hauled more firewood than a national park, family SUVs that still have crumbs from a 2017 road trip, commuters who swear their car “only makes the noise when I’m heading toward Johnstown,” and the Pennsylvania classic:
“It started acting weird after I drove through that snow… or slush… or whatever that gray stuff was.”

This shop wants a technician who can handle Windbergrade chaos — the mystery thunks, the “my brother tried to fix it,” the dashboards that light up like a Penguins playoff game, and the engines that sound like they’re begging for early retirement.
They want the tech who can diagnose a problem before the hood even pops, who doesn’t panic when a customer says “Google said it might be the head gasket,” and who can bring a vehicle back from the brink with skill, speed, and a little mechanical wizardry.

And when you apply through CarGuys Inc. — America & Canada’s #1 Automotive Recruiter, you stay anonymous until you decide otherwise. No politics. No drama. No “my cousin already claimed this job.” Just your skills, front and center.

    What You’ll Be Doing
    • Real diagnostics — not “swap parts until something surrenders”
    • Repairs on domestic & import vehicles
    • Maintenance, brakes, suspension, electrical, and engine work
    • Keeping customers safe and their vehicles roadworthy
    • Staying busy — this shop does not believe in slow days

    What You Bring
    • Experience as an Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, or ASE Tech
    • Ability to diagnose and repair modern vehicles accurately
    • Pride in doing the job right the first time
    • A teamfocused mindset
    • Certifications are great, but not required

    What You Get
    • Strong pay based on experience & skill
    • A shop culture that actually respects technicians
    • Updated tools, diagnostic equipment, and support
    • A stable, reputable dealership group in Windber
    • Real opportunities for advancement

    Why Apply Through CarGuys Inc.?
    • You stay anonymous — your info is protected
    • We present you directly to the hiring manager
    • Trusted by hundreds of dealerships across the U.S. & Canada
    • A simple, fast, technicianfriendly process
