    • Compensation: Competitive pay, between $30 and $35 hourly, based on experience
    • Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) savings plan, and Flexible Spending Plan
    • Career Growth & Development: Extensive training, continuing education, and opportunities to grow into subject matter expertise
    • Team & Collaborative Environment: Work alongside highly trained, safety-focused crews
    • Equipment & Safety: Industry-leading tools and resources, with an emphasis on safety and quality

    Position Summary

As a Crane Operator on our General Tree Care team, you’ll be part of the muscle of our operation—helping provide safe, high-quality tree care for clients in your community. You’ll work outdoors on beautiful properties, alongside a talented, safety-minded crew, and put your crane operation skills and industry knowledge to use every day. In addition to tree care, you may also handle subcontracting work such as assisting steel companies, moving hot tubs, and more.

    What a Day Is Like

    • Operate cranes safely and effectively in support of tree removals, pruning, cabling, and bracing
    • Collaborate with crew members to provide top-quality service to clients
    • Perform subcontracting crane work for external companies as needed
    • Maintain and operate equipment in alignment with safety standards and company procedures

    About You

You are a skilled and safety-conscious operator who enjoys working outdoors and on a team. You bring:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of general crane operation
    • NCCCO or NCCER certification (preferred)
    • Valid Driver’s License and Class A CDL
    • Basic knowledge of tree identification (a plus, but not required)
    • Prior tree care experience (valued, but not required)

    Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting. You’ll work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and machinery.
