Assembles thrust reverse parts for the Cascade Program. This specific type of assembly is performed in a clean room with raw carbon materials.

Adheres to company and customer specifications, work instructions, and work orders.
Documents how many Plies of backing are removed from raw materials, How long and at what PSI raw materials are compacted at, properly records mandrel cure cycles, Records what LM and LM units are used for each cascade build, records when and at what temperature frekote (mold release) was applied to LM surface, properly records all raw materials used in the build, and properly records EUR of all raw materials.
Finalizes the layup build of the Cascade by:
Organizing mandrels into rows in sequential order per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Properly compacts rows per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Ensures strong backs are at correct height per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Performs raw material layup on the surface of strong backs and tool surface per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Performs inspection of the cascade build per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Closes the lid of the cascade component
Uses the overhead crane to put the lid onto its corresponding LM
Ensures that the lid is seated correctly per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Measures the gap between details of LM per XRMY 13-530 and MSC636-1
Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.
General Notes:
Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.
All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of C&D products.
As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
