This position contributes to our vision by:
- Provide management and leadership to the staff and organization that aligns with the company's business plan, overall strategic vision and the Safran Leadership Model.
- In conjunction with Chihuahua leadership, lead, guide and direct operational synergies between Gainesville and Chihuahua to insure successful operational alignment between the facilities.
- Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading aerospace organization.
- Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, President and other key executive team members.
- Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.
- Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external operational processes.
- Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the business unit.
- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and lean processes using continuous process improvement tools.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industiral Org required
- Business Administration Master degree preferred
- Professional Qualifications: PMP certification, etc.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in aerospace industry or equivalent in a leadership role
- ISO Quality Systems, ERP, etc.
- English - proficient level, French - intern. Level
- Requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of business/production theories and practices as well as other disciplines such as Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement and Quality, etc.
- This job requires a comprehensive understanding of how all organization sub-functions collectively integrate the operations group to achieve the objectives of the BU. Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
- This role has full management responsibilities of numerous teams of managers/professionals and workforce planning for the future. Ability to read and review written communication.
- This job is expected to direct/lead the development of solutions that go beyond existing precedents, assumptions or current practices and knowledge of high level business challenges. Is required to deliver solutions in a fast changing environment. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
