THE WORK:

Join us as we redefine how capital markets operate in the digital age. Positioned at the convergence of blockchain innovation and institutional finance, the role presents unparalleled opportunities to shape the future of capital markets infrastructure. You'll spearhead high-impact partnerships and relationships with financial institutions, investment firms, and market infrastructure providers, harnessing the power of the XRP ledger (XRPL) to develop groundbreaking solutions that will modernize global capital markets. Get ready to make a lasting impact and be a driving force behind the institutional adoption of blockchain technology in capital markets worldwide.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of RippleX's Capital Markets strategy, setting priorities that impact the overall team and business objectives while positioning XRPL as a leading blockchain for institutional capital markets applications
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with investment banks, investment firms, financial market infrastructure providers and other capital markets institutions to drive adoption of blockchain solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities at the intersection of traditional capital markets and blockchain technology, extending the XRPL ecosystem into institutional finance
  • Lead complex deal negotiations and partnership agreements with senior executives at major financial institutions, managing the entire lifecycle from initiation to closure
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and trading teams at Ripple to develop use cases, solutions, and product-market fit for capital markets applications
  • Develop comprehensive business plans, proposals, and pitches to attract potential partners and effectively showcase Ripple's value proposition to institutional audiences
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in capital markets' adoption of digital assets and blockchain technology, using insights to advise strategic decisions and partnerships
  • Serve as a thought leader on blockchain applications in capital markets, representing Ripple at industry events and with key stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of digital assets, blockchain technology, and their applications in institutional finance
  • Proven track record of success in developing first-of-a-kind partnerships and closing complex deals within the financial services sector
  • Established network of contacts within capital markets, including senior executives at financial institutions and influential industry partners
  • Strong business development and deal-making skills, with experience managing the entire partner lifecycle from market strategy development and pipeline management to deal closure and implementation
  • Exceptional ability to rapidly grasp sophisticated technology products and effectively communicate their value proposition to institutional partners
  • Talent for analytical, strategic thinking combined with strength in collaborative, consultative selling
  • Experience, drive, and validated results in launching or growing new businesses and leading cross-functional initiatives
