Job description

The Providence Heart Institute in Oregon is seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join the team at the Providence Hood River Heart Clinic. Primary clinical responsibilities include a busy outpatient clinic and oversight of outpatient hospital procedures. Opportunity to blend outpatient clinic with an inpatient call rotation at Providence Heart Institute in Portland by request. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed facility with an active medical staff of more than 160 providers. A full complement of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing is available on site. The Hood River cardiology practice includes an established General Cardiologist, and experienced and dedicated support staff. Providers work closely with a large, collaborative group of cardiologists and cardiac and vascular surgeons based in Portland, as well as a multi-specialty provider group in Hood River.
This is a unique opportunity to practice in a close-knit community with exceptional access to outdoor recreation and natural beauty, while remaining connected to a world class Heart Institute.

The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" designation for coronary artery disease care.
