    Job Description:
    GENERAL DUTIES:
    • IT Systems Administration & Network Support
      • Monitor and optimize network performance (speed, reliability, security).
      • Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls.
      • Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations (Windows/Linux).
      • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
      • Apply patches and updates; conduct system health and performance checks.
    • Cybersecurity & Information Assurance
      • Implement security protocols to safeguard classified data.
      • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
      • Assist with remediation of security incidents and maintain compliance with DoD security practices.
    • Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Management
      • Maintain and troubleshoot VTC systems (Cisco, Polycom, ZoomGov).
      • Support setup, operation, and maintenance of VTC systems and A/V equipment.
      • Ensure audio/video quality, secure connectivity, and proper room configurations.
      • Train end-users and develop supporting documentation for VTC use.
    • Tier 1-2 End-User Support
      • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
      • Maintain help desk documentation and troubleshooting guides.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • IT issues within Joint Operational Centers (JOC), Tactical Operation Centers (TOC), Emergency Operations Centers (EOC), or similar complex operations centers.
    • Minimum of 5+ years in progressive experience in IT support roles, with at least 2 years specifically focused on VTC systems.
    • Be proficient in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), cybersecurity principles, and troubleshooting methodologies.
    • Have extensive knowledge of VTC technologies (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, Zoom for Government), codecs, protocols (H.323, SIP), and endpoint management. Experience with audio/video equipment setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent are highly preferred. VTC-specific certifications are a plus.
