Master Scheduler | Hart, MI

Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hart that are seeking skilled Master Schedulers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity constraints and material availability.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align on production plans and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and production progress, adjusting schedules as needed to meet demand and minimize excess.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, escalating complex issues to management with proposed solutions.
  • Optimize production sequences to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate, analyze, and update scheduling data.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and production performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or demand planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various departments.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis RapidResponse)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
