Job description

The Challenge

At OneTrust, great events start with strong planning and even stronger execution. The Global Events team delivers 80+ events annually - ranging from community user groups and executive roadshows to Tier 1 tradeshows and our flagship global conferences, TrustWeek and Sales Kickoff.

As an Events Marketing Specialist, you'll play a critical support role across this portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone earlier in their events or marketing career who is eager to learn, highly organized, and excited to help deliver exceptional experiences through strong operational support, coordination, and documentation.

Your Mission

You have a passion for exceptional event experiences-from immersive tradeshows to complex multi-day conferences and smaller customer connection events-and thrive in a fast-paced environment where cross-functional collaboration and innovation are key.  You are eager to learn to identify and report on event goals, objectives, and KPIs and strive to create compelling experiences and marketing plans that drive attendees to register and participate in OneTrust events.

As an Events Marketing Specialist, you will support the strategy and execution of OneTrust's event portfolio, including:

Event Execution Support

  • Support planning and execution for flagship conferences such as TrustWeek and OneTrust oneday events, including vendor coordination, speaker and breakout logistics, sponsor support, offsite events, and attendee experience elements.
  • Assist with OneTrust's presence at thirdparty tradeshows, supporting project plans, internal enablement, onsite logistics, and postevent reporting.
  • Support community and customer events including User Groups, thought leadership events, and OneTrust global roadshows.

Event Operations & Coordination

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, budgets, timelines, and event folders to ensure consistency and accuracy across events.
  • Support procurement processes and contract tracking for venues, vendors, and services.
  • Assist with registration websites, surveys, lead capture, and ROI reporting.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Field Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing) to support successful event participation.
  • Help ensure teams are informed, enabled, and aligned on event goals, logistics, and outcomes.

Event Technology & Tools

  • Work within event and marketing systems including project management tools, budget trackers, CRM, and registration platforms.
  • Support reporting and analysis to help measure event performance and impact.
You Are
  • Looking to further your career in event management as an in-house\client-side planner
  • Have knowledge and interest in marketing and event's role in driving business goals
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Eager to learn about vendor negotiation, budget management, and logistics coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment with tight deadlines.
  • High degree of technical competence for registration systems and websites, event reporting and analytics through use of SFDC and PowerBI dashboards, project management and resourcing platforms.
  • Keen interest in developing unique experiences that drive brand engagement across live and virtual events
  • Willing to travel (domestic & international) and work nonstandard hours as needed.

Your Experience Includes

  • 2+ years of experience supporting marketing events or tradeshows (B2B SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Degree, preferably in marketing, communication, public relations or related field 
  • Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment 
  • Experience with Microsoft tools
  • Additional bonus to have had experience with CVENT event website building, registration management and content (breakout) management
