We are seeking an experienced, motivated
Director of Business Development to lead sales efforts across the
Eastern Region. This is an immediate opening for an energetic, self-starting sales professional who can work independently to develop and execute an effective sales strategy within an established territory. The role is home-based and includes full benefits, company-provided equipment, and covered travel expenses.
The assigned territory includes
New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The position reports directly to the National Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while sourcing new business
- Conduct cold outreach via phone and email to law firms, lenders, title companies, REITs, and corporations
- Utilize a consultative sales approach focused on securing end-user commitment for future service needs
- Develop a working knowledge of core service offerings and commercial real estate transactions (training provided)
- Research, plan, and execute sales trips; report outcomes and activity to management
- Manage territory strategy, scheduling, and reporting with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of consultative sales experience, including relationship building, cold calling, and travel planning
- Bachelor's degree required (business-related degree preferred)
- Experience selling professional services or other intangibles preferred
- Background selling to law firms, working in the title industry, or within commercial real estate is a plus
- Experience with group presentations is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
The pay range for this position is $75,000- $95,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
