Job Summary:

They are seeking a Full-Stack Applications Developer to support the development and operations of various systems aimed at streamlining operations and automating processes within the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities:
• Develop software applications as web services that are written in Java unless otherwise directed by Sponsor. Examples include Node JS and Angular with Typescript, and Springboot with Hibernate and messaging; Java (Groovy on Grails); Scripting languages
• Develop and maintain software applications as web services that interact with data stored in Postgres, MySQL, and other relational databases and/or Cloud technologies such as AWS
• Develop, upgrade, and maintain APis and search with REST-like APis to communicate with other software applications and databases as required by Sponsor
• Utilize XML, JSON, or other Sponsor standards for data transfer and metadata management
• Has experience writing SQL queries
• Improve search and website usability and accessibility by leveraging enterprise capabilities
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and Python
• Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement and maintain APIs for seamless integration between different systems
• Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring a high level of quality and reliability
• Work with relational and MySQL databases for data storage and retrieval
• Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to existing applications, process time, and supporting legal mandates
• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with front end development using Angular
• Familiarity with Source code management and integration (ex – GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience in an Agile environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• TS/SCI FSP Clearance
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and Python
