• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric or psychosocial assessments, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's mental status and history.
• Collaboratively craft tailored treatment plans that align with the specific needs of individuals and their families, integrating various therapeutic modalities such as individual, couples, family, psychoeducation, and group therapy.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic interventions, including psychotherapy, problem-solving techniques, role-playing scenarios, and model behavior practices to enhance clients' social skills, interpersonal relationships, and overall community engagement.
• Accurately document all clinical interactions within the electronic health record (EHR) system according to established organizational policies, ensuring that outcomes and intervention effectiveness are continually monitored and evaluated.
• Engage in effective collaboration with referral sources, other healthcare professionals, and members of the client's clinical team to support holistic care.
• Participate in ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness to inform necessary adjustments to therapy and care strategies.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with MultiCare, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents struggling with mental illnesses ranging from anxiety and depression to complex co-occurring disorders. The role requires a high level of cultural competence, sensitivity, and patience, as you help clients navigate their therapeutic journeys while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes wellness and healing.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted license in the State of Washington as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing direct care to patients in a mental health setting.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to write comprehensive intake reports and treatment plans that comply with best practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple caseloads effectively.

Experience working in outpatient mental health settings and familiarity with telehealth protocols is highly desirable. Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team-based care or research in mental health treatment can also be advantageous.
