The successful candidate will earn an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, reflecting their expertise and commitment to patient care.

Work Environment

This position allows the flexibility of remote work while remaining a vital part of our Community Health Clinic team. You will engage in regular virtual meetings and case reviews, fostering close collaboration with peers and multi-disciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MultiCare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychiatric or psychosocial assessments to understand patients' mental health needs, including mental status examinations.
• Developing customized, comprehensive treatment plans collaboratively with clients, identifying their unique needs and integrating evidence-based approaches.
• Facilitating individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions that focus on psychoeducation and skill development.
• Delivering psychotherapy and supportive interventions designed to address specific behavioral concerns and enhance social skills, confidence, and community engagement.
• Meticulously documenting all patient interactions and treatment progress in our electronic health record system in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Monitoring and evaluating treatment outcomes to ensure therapeutic effectiveness and aligning care with patient goals.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and referral resources, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve a diverse patient population facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. With a strong focus on evidence-based strategies, you will play a significant role in developing trusting relationships with clients, helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Active licensure in the State of Washington as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
• Three or more years of direct experience providing mental health care and therapy.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality notes and intake reports.
• Excellent time management abilities to balance caseloads and administrative responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in community mental health settings or understanding of culturally competent care will be favored. Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in outpatient therapy settings, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), is an advantage.
