The Preschool Director oversees a medium-sized team of 6-15 staff, maintaining a balanced focus on curriculum quality and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO, this leadership role ensures exceptional educational experiences while managing daily preschool operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support preschool staff, fostering a collaborative environment
- Develop and oversee educational programs and curriculum implementation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress and school updates
- Manage enrollment processes to maintain optimal class sizes
- Coordinate staff training and professional development activities
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in early childhood education administration welcomed
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Skills in program management and staff supervision
- Strong background in curriculum development and regulatory compliance
