Job description

The Preschool Director oversees a medium-sized team of 6-15 staff, maintaining a balanced focus on curriculum quality and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO, this leadership role ensures exceptional educational experiences while managing daily preschool operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support preschool staff, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Develop and oversee educational programs and curriculum implementation
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety requirements
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress and school updates
  • Manage enrollment processes to maintain optimal class sizes
  • Coordinate staff training and professional development activities
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in early childhood education administration welcomed
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Skills in program management and staff supervision
  • Strong background in curriculum development and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
