FOR NEARLY OVER100 YEARS, HUGHES MACHINERY COMPANY HAS PROVIDED EXTENSIVE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR BOILER AND HEAT TRANSFER, STEAM PRODUCTION FOR COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, AND UTILITY PROJECTS. GREAT INDUSTRY TO BE A PART OF!

As an Outside Sales Representative you will grow your territory by bringing in new
opportunities and developing repeat business within your existing accounts. This will require that you call on engineers, contractors, project managers, and others to determine their needs and specifications through a consultative
approach.
What you'll do:
  • Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining existing customers and by discovering new opportunities.
  • Grow your network of engineers and contractors in your assigned territory.
  • Sell engineered heating/hot water systems within the industrial sector.
  • Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
  • Organize and conduct product training sessions for customers.

We seek:
  • Experience with boiler, steam, water heating, and thermal transfer systems a plus!
  • Knowledge of steam-related valves, traps, pumps, controls, instrumentation
  • Proven ability to work with engineers and contractors to identify solutions for project requirements
  • Hands-on involvement installing/commissioning steam boilers and water heaters a plus.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
