Bring Custom Creations to Life with L.L.Bean!

Our Bean for Business team specializes in embroidering company logos, names, and symbols onto iconic L.L.Bean gear, from classic Boat and Tote bags to cozy fleece jackets. Each stitch represents quality, craftsmanship, and pride.

We are currently hiring temporary, full-time Embroidery Machine Operators, Quality Assurance Support Reps, and Fulfillment Processors to work in our Lewiston warehouse to help us deliver these highquality, customized products to our corporate customers. No prior experience? No problem - we'll train you!

Most of our available positions are on 2nd shift (4pm-10pm), with a limited number of 1st Shift positions available. Here are some more details about the jobs:

Embroidery Machine Operator. Be part of the team that turns everyday gear into custom-made products. In this role, you would:

  • Operate a computer-guided, multihead embroidery machine to stitch logos with precision
  • Select thread colors, thread needles, and measure products to ensure perfect placement
  • Inspect finished embroidery to ensure it meets L.L.Bean quality standards
  • Work closely with teammates to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations

Quality Assurance Support Representatives. In this role, you're the final set of eyes-ensuring every product is shipmentready and flawless. You would:

  • Inspect items for accuracy (size, color, item ID, logo placement, thread color)
  • Remove backing material, trim loose threads, and clean guide marks
  • Fold and package items correctly by size
  • Pack finished goods and include required shipment documentation

Fulfillment Processors

Help keep the operation moving by making sure the right products are in the right place at the right time. In this role, you will:

  • Retrieve, organize, and move cases of merchandise (up to 30 lbs) using pallet jacks and carts
  • Verify product details against computer records before embroidery begins
  • Work with item codes, sizes, colors, and symbols with careful attention to detail
  • Maintain and organize supplies that support the embroidery team

  • Intermediate (or higher) English skills for reading order specifications

All Bean for Business warehouse team members are expected to work Saturdays in November and December (our peak season).

  • These temporary roles are expected to last through the holiday peak season and may continue through February 2027, depending on demand

L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $18.00 - $20.00. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
