    Job Description
This role will be based in San Francisco, Chicago, or New York.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role is designed for a senior, field-facing sales performance consultant who can operate as a strategic extension of the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Strategic Accounts leadership team. As a Senior Sales Performance Consultant, you will diagnose performance opportunities, shape an enablement roadmap, and orchestrate cross-functional solutions that improve seller effectiveness and sales leadership capability that lead to measurable business outcomes.
In this role, you will bring your deep B2B sales acumen, executive-level influence, strong data storytelling, and the ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into practical, scalable behavior-change strategies. You will partner closely with Sales leaders, GTM Enablement, Operations, Marketing, Product, and other teams to ensure enablement is field-ready, commercially relevant, and aligned to Strategic Accounts priorities.
    Responsibilities:
    Strategic business partnership
    • Serve as the GTM Enablement business partner to Strategic Accounts leadership, including senior and executive stakeholders, by identifying the highest-impact performance opportunities and recommending enablement strategies that support business growth.
    • Build trusted relationships with Sales leaders, field reps, and cross-functional partners to uncover what is preventing teams from achieving business goals and where enablement can create measurable leverage.
    • Act as a bridge between centrally developed enablement, Strategic Accounts priorities, and field realities, so programs are relevant, practical, and connected to customer business objectives.

    Performance diagnosis and insight generation
    • Leverage qualitative and quantitative inputs including sales performance data, operational metrics, call observation, field listening, stakeholder interviews, and enablement feedback loops to diagnose knowledge, skill, tool, and process gaps.
    • Synthesize insights into clear narratives and executive-level recommendations that connect seller behavior, customer conversations, sales process execution, and commercial outcomes.
    • Provide a definitive point of view on root causes, tradeoffs, and recommended actions while adapting communication to the language and priorities of Sales leadership.

    Enablement strategy, execution, and measurement
    • Design and execute a comprehensive enablement strategy for Strategic Accounts that drives measurable behavior change and is aligned to business priorities, sales plays, customer needs, and operational rhythms.
    • Lead complex, multi-dimensional programs and portfolios, translating ambiguous business problems into structured plans with clear scope, success metrics, interdependencies, ownership, and stakeholder accountability.
    • Partner with Sales Operations and business leaders to define impact measures, monitor ROI, and use feedback loops to refine reinforcement tactics and sustain adoption.

    Change management and executive influence
    • Drive alignment across Marketing, Operations, Product, GTM Enablement, and Sales leadership to streamline processes, reduce friction, and anticipate execution risks at scale.
    • Develop and execute change management and communication strategies that increase awareness, buy-in, sponsorship, and sustained engagement from VP and VP+ stakeholders.
    • Influence without authority across a highly matrixed environment, helping leaders lead from the front and hold teams accountable for adopting new behaviors and operating practices.

Coaching, sales leadership capability, and field readiness
    • Provide targeted coaching and advisory support to Sales leaders and reps to improve deal execution, customer relevance, and overall seller performance.
    • Build, recommend, and codify management practices, reinforcement cadences, and operational processes that strengthen sales leadership capability and improve field productivity.
    • Mentor junior GTM Enablement team members by modeling strong consulting practices, providing project-oriented feedback, and sharing repeatable approaches.

    Technology, AI, and operating leverage
    • Use enablement technology and AI-centric tools to surface performance insights, scale best practices, reinforce learning, and increase workflow leverage.
    • Experiment with emerging tools and approaches, share learnings with peers and leadership, and role model responsible adoption that improves enablement impact.
    • Partner with internal teams to ensure tools, content, and programs are simple, field-ready, and connected to seller workflows.

    Qualifications
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, communications, education, engineering, product management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, sales enablement, sales performance consulting, sales operations, change management, management consulting, or a related commercial role.
    • Experience partnering with senior sales leaders to diagnose business challenges, recommend solutions, and drive measurable behavior change.
    • Experience using data, customer or field insights, and stakeholder input to build recommendations and influence business decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Quota-carrying sales experience or equivalent depth of sales acumen, preferably in B2B, enterprise, strategic accounts, digital media, advertising, SaaS, or marketing solutions.
    • Experience supporting large customer-facing sales teams, complex buying groups, enterprise account motions, or global/matrixed sales organizations.
    • Proven ability to influence VP+ stakeholders, build coalitions, and align senior leaders around a clear enablement strategy without formal authority.
    • Strong command of performance consulting, change management, adult learning, facilitation, and reinforcement strategies that drive sustained behavior change.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-initiative portfolios with clear scope, success metrics, interdependencies, execution plans, and stakeholder accountability.
    • Advanced communication and data storytelling skills, including the ability to convert ambiguous signals into concise executive narratives and action-oriented recommendations.
    • Fluency with AI, sales conversational intelligence, CRM or sales productivity tools, learning platforms, project management tools, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Coaching certification, sales leadership experience, or demonstrated ability to coach sales managers and reps to improve field performance.

    Suggested Skills:
