Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Provide individual therapy, employing a variety of evidence-based techniques to enhance clients’ psychological well-being, addressing issues such as grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.
  • Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Offer teletherapy services, utilizing our client management software to facilitate seamless video sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients with transportation challenges or geographical barriers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of sessions and treatment plans to adhere to ethical standards and facilitate effective communication with team members.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training opportunities, to enhance clinical skills and remain informed about innovative practices in psychotherapy and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Lifeworks, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Our clients often seek assistance with issues related to trauma, chronic stress, familial conflicts, and life transitions. Your role will be crucial in fostering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment that encourages clients to explore their thoughts and feelings and work towards meaningful change.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • A strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward client experiences and challenges.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to manage a diverse caseload and meet administrative requirements efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience in providing therapy within a clinical or community health setting, particularly with a focus on marriage and family therapy.
  • Experience with digital platforms for teletherapy and electronic health record management.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to integrating these approaches into practice.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
