Marine Mechanic Full-Time (Barrie, Ontario)
$26$30/hour | Hands-On Work | Training + On-the-Water Perks
Legend Boats is hiring!
Were looking for an experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Barrie, Ontario. If you enjoy diagnosing issues, working with your hands, and being around boats, this is a great opportunity to do what you love in a supportive, team-driven environment.
This is a full-time role with strong potential for ongoing opportunities.
What Youll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and service outboard motors (2-stroke & 4-stroke)
- Perform seasonal maintenance, including winterizations
- Conduct water testing to troubleshoot and optimize performance
- Assemble and rig boats (pontoons, fishing boats, deck boats, etc.)
- Complete warranty repairs with a high level of quality and care
- Work collaboratively to meet daily shop and production goals
What You Bring
Must-have:
- 3+ years of marine mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Mercury Certification
- Experience working with outboard engines
- Valid drivers license
Nice to have:
- Boating license (if not must be willing to get)
You are someone who:
- Takes pride in your work and attention to detail
- Enjoys hands-on, problem-solving work
- Communicates clearly with team members and customers
- Has a passion for boating and the outdoor lifestyle
