Logistics Specialist (1st Shift)

Location: New Albany, Ohio
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily logistics, warehouse, inventory, and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating shipments, managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage shipping, receiving, and delivery activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials.
  • Monitor transportation requirements and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Support compliance-related documentation and ensure all required records are maintained accurately.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
  • Pull, stage, verify, and prepare materials and orders for distribution.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations.
  • Process goods receipts and inventory transactions within ERP systems.
  • Track shipments, deliveries, and material movement while maintaining detailed records.
  • Manage material tracking systems and generate operational reports.
  • Assist with resolving procurement and invoice-related discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and asset management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and data-tracking capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Work Schedule:
  • Standard first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required based on business needs.
