In this role, your primary focus will be safely installing and removing dies, programming setups on machine controllers, and adjusting machinery to ensure high-quality production runs. You will be hands-on with our equipment, utilizing forklifts to transport heavy dies and raw materials, and working closely with our Quality and Tool Room teams. If you have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safe work practices, you will be a perfect fit for this team.
We have openings on 1st and 2nd shift

    Responsibilities:
    • Die Installation & Removal - Safely install and remove dies from machines, the Tool Room, and die shelves. Ensure the last piece part is saved with the die following all stamping productions.
    • Machine Setup & Adjustment - Program or retrieve setups on the machine controller, set die parameters per the applicable job sheet in our software and adjust the machine until an acceptable first piece is produced to bring to Quality for 1st piece inspection and approval.

Retrieve dies, raw materials, or WIP to the machine, and transfer dies from storage to the press, or to the Tool Room for maintenance/repairs when appropriate. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance checks on forklifts.
    • Production Documentation - Receive orders from the Production Supervisor or digital job sheet with order-associated details. Utilize our manufacturing software appropriately to record machine status and write clear, concise documentation.
