Job Description
Sr Java(Backend engineer)
Location: Mclean is preferred. Richmond
Duration: 7 months – Possibility of extension and conversion. No guarantee.
Project Overview: This associate is going to work in the customer core space in EP tech space. They
the team is working on a system that stores and manages important customer information like email, phone number, and other attributes. They are adding new types of customer data and creating a self-service system so that in the future, new attributes can be added more easily without heavy engineering effort. This is a new development project (not a migration), and it may also support related initiatives like "Client” features that use this customer data. The work mainly involves backend development using Java and Python, along with cloud services (AWS) and databases to build scalable and efficient systems.
Data + backend systems focus – Cassandra and Aurora PostgreSQL
Team: 5 engineers currently, hiring 2 more and they work in Agile setup: standups, sprints, retros.
Location: (Richmond, VA)
