    Job description

    The M365 Copilot Senior Solutions Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Agents, Copilot Studio and AI driven solutions across the enterprise. As a member of the AI Associate Productivity Tooling Team, this role works closely with architects, engineers, and business partners to translate requirements into secure, scalable, and compliant AI solutions that improve productivity and deliver measurable business value.


    This role designs, builds, and maintains APIs and connectors to integrate Copilot capabilities with enterprise systems, while also building, testing, and maintaining Copilot Studio agents, prompts, and AI-enabled workflows.  The engineer provides hands-on guidance and support for Microsoft Power Platform solutions-including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI-to extend Copilot workflows and enhance automation and reporting outcomes. Responsibilities also include assisting with Copilot tenant configuration such as licensing, data boundaries, security controls, and Microsoft 365 integration points; supporting adoption initiatives through readiness activities, use case implementation, and phased rollouts; and participating in technical workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions. Role will provide operational support for Copilot related incidents, while translating business requirements into effective Copilot workflows, prompts, and automation.


    While the primary focus remains on M365 Copilot and Power Platform, the expectation is to demonstrate strong expertise in Generative AI, AI Integration, Prompt engineering, Ethical AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Model fine-tuning, AI Observability & monitoring, Large Language models (LLM), Conversational AI and Responsible & Enterprise AI.
     

    Provide advanced and/or cross-technology engineering through all phases of the Technology/Project Life Cycle. Accountable for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Design, implement/install, maintain and administer infrastructure systems including hardware, software and various configurations. Monitor overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures.     Minimum
    - 4+ years of experience in support and/or engineering for the specific technical discipline
    - Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers in all levels of the organization
    - Ability to understand company business problems and identify technical solutions

    • Experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
    • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and related M365 services.
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation in Microsoft 365 environments.
    • Familiarity with security, governance, and compliance concepts within Microsoft 365 environments.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving technical environment.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Microsoft technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
    • Any Microsoft or Technical certifications are positive and should be noted, especially related to the core technology stack of M365.
    • Demonstrated experience participating in organizational change management (OCM) or technology transformation initiatives to drive successful enterprise adoption of new platforms and ways of working.

    - Design and successfully implement overall infrastructure components per project with infrastructure teams, ensuring that overall solution is designed to meet SLA , DR, monitoring, security and scalability needs required by the solution
    - Ensure that post-production operational processes/deliverables are well designed and implemented prior to the project moving into the solution support phase
    - Generate scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources, on prem, cloud and distributed
    - Discover, install, and execute processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings
    - Debug technical issues inside a complex stack involving virtualization, containers and microservices
    - Collaborate with the engineering teams to enable their applications to run on Cloud infrastructure
    - Define and create operational procedures, processes and scripts
    - Ensure secure operations of infrastructure technologies (security updates, vulnerability management, role access management, configuration hardening)
