Job Description

• ASCP Certified Med Tech or MLT (primary bench chemistry/hematology).
• This position requires the ability to multitask, exhibit excellent attention to detail and follow the guidelines set by CAP and the Laboratory System.
• Great customer service a must with customers and staff.
• Candidate must be a team player and must work well with others and independently.
• Must have strong generalist with stellar core lab experience in a hospital setting.
• Chemistry: Siemens Vista Dimension 500 (Main chemistry analyzers); ABL 835 Flex (Blood Gases); Osmo 3200 Osmometer.
• Hematology: Sysmex XN3000 (main Hematology analyzer); Stago Compact (Coagulation); Beckman Coulter IRIS: Velocity and IQ200 (urinalysis); Clinitek 500 (backup urinalysis); PFA100 (Platelet Function Analysis); Alcor iSED (ESR analyzer).
• Blood Bank: Ortho Vision.
• Manual testing:
• Client ID NOW – COVID 19 and Influenza; Roche LIAT – COVID19/FLU combo; Sofia uHCG; Affirm DNA probes.

Minimal Requirements

• Must have 3.5 years of experience with travel (in hospital setting).
• First time travelers will only be considered if they have 5+ years of experience in a hospital setting
• Candidates with travel experience will take priority.
• ASCP CERTIFICATION.
• Strong chemistry background.
