Job description

OPEN JOB: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
LOCATION: Torrance, California
SALARY: $107,660 to $167,107
***$10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires
***Relocation Assistance Available
Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
  • The Nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
  • Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
