TITLE: Sr. 1 Maintenance Technician
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform duties required to maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment and multi-lane bag machines with auto pak equipment. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in mechanical and electrical related fields.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year’s mechanical and/or electrical experience maintaining industrial equipment or equivalent
- Ability to work shift work, weekends and 12-hour shifts (day and night)
- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate nonstandard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interaction
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform complex duties required to install, maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment, multi-lane bag machines with Auto Pak equipment and related machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on extruders and bag machines according to close specifications and standardized procedures.
- Able to switch over the process air.
- CPR training.
- Overhaul born binders mech.
- Overhaul born binders electrical.
- Trained to lift an autopak.
- Trained to lift a winder.
- Change winder linear bearings.
