Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator for our manufacturing industry client to start immediately at $17.00/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities
- Operate a 5,000 lb. sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently
- Report operations activities and issues to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor or Operations Manager
- Achieve quality objectives related to ISO, QMS, and FSMS standards
- Maintain good housekeeping practices across the facility
- Manually stretch wrap customer goods onto pallets and handle food-grade products
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Experience with a 5,000 lb. forklift preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and Department of Transportation regulations
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
Skills
- Forklift operation and safety certification
- Bulk material handling and pallet wrapping
- Knowledge of ISO standards, Food Safety Management System, and Quality Management System
- Strong customer service and food safety awareness
- Good housekeeping, personal hygiene, and safety practices
