    Job description

    Position: MIG Welder
    Pay: Competitive
    Shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
    Location: Bedford Park, IL
    Integrity Trade Services is hiring a MIG Welder to join our automotive manufacturing client in Bedford Park, IL. This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of going full-time. Starting pay is $21 per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform MIG welding on steel components following engineering drawings and specifications
    • Fabricate, fit, and assemble vehicle parts and structural components
    • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
    • Inspect welds to ensure quality and safety compliance
    • Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
    • Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
    • Maintain a clean, organized work area in adherence to safety policies
    • Perform routine maintenance on welding tools and report any equipment issues

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Prior welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication environment
    • Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
    • Experience using measuring tools, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment

    Skills:
    • MIG welding expertise
    • Blueprint reading
    • Metal surface preparation and inspection
    • Fabrication and assembly skills
    • Equipment operation and maintenance
