    Job description

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a strategic, technically strong Senior Manager, Product Manager to own the endtoend strategy, roadmap, and performance of Insulet's global Data Management System platform. In this role, you will strengthen our cloudnative platform for scale, availability, performance, security, privacy, while driving capabilities that improve deployment efficiency and longterm cost optimization. You will also lead our migration strategy from Microsoft Azure to AWS, partnering closely with engineering, DevOps, CloudOps, cybersecurity, and program teams to deliver a highly available, compliant, and futureready global platform.

    Responsibilities:

    • Cultivate deep understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.

    • Lead teams through data-driven processes to test feasibility and viability and translate learnings into business cases informed by clear roadmaps and global platform execution plans.

    • Develop and articulate a clear vision for products and lead execution of the integrated roadmap to deliver franchise goals, globally.

    • Own full product lifecycle, guiding trade-offs and release plans for new features, launches in new global markets, in-market sustaining activities, and technical debt retirement.

    • Define integrated release targets & scope, value proposition & delivery to drive growth, provide customers with cadence of new innovations, and maximize return on investment.

    • Responsible for on-market product performance, including market share, retention, product complaints, NPS, cost to sustain, and product cost.

    • Accountable to build and deliver business cases.

    • Lead execution and release of product initiatives with technology teams, medical, regulatory, manufacturing and other teams across Insulet to lead on-budget, on-time cross-functional execution to realize value and advance Insulet's mission.

    • Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers to shape integrated launch strategy for global products.

    • Set targets, objectives & reviews with all PMs within the organization.

    • Collaborate with other product managers to establish processes and best practices for Product Management and Product Owners at Insulet.

    • Coordinate on architecture and scalability requirements and guide investment timing.

    • Create bottom-up planning for annual & strategic plans.

    • Coordinate medical & scientific input & review.

    • Collaborate on franchise roadmap and priorities in relation to enterprise-wide strategies.

    Required Leadership Skills & Behaviors

    Education and Experience

    • 10+ yrs as a product manager (5 at a senior role); matrix leadership experience preferred.

    • Experience working in a highly regulated environment required; medical device product management expertise strongly preferred.

    • Deep knowledge of regulatory & quality requirements globally.

    • Deep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and interfaces with customer facing applications in the medical device space as well as emerging technologies including Confluent, Data Bricks, streaming and ML/AI.

    • Experience developing and commercializing connected products/line extensions.

    • Experience leading end-to-end product management.

    • Diabetes experience or knowledge a plus.

    • Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business need.

    Additional Information:

    Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $185,000.00 - $277,475.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
