Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to support aircraft structural design activities in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aircraft structures, CATIA V5, and Boeing design tools and processes, with the ability to develop technical solutions and work collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities
Support aircraft structural design and development activities.
Create and modify structural designs using CATIA V5 and Boeing design tools.
Provide technical solutions for structural design issues and engineering challenges.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Support design reviews, documentation, and engineering change activities.
Ensure compliance with program requirements and engineering standards.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Material Sciences, or related Engineering field.
12+ years of related structural design experience.
Experience with CATIA V5 and Boeing design tools/processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting the 737 program in Structures.
Familiarity with DCCS, ETAC, and PDM systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and identify project needs with minimal guidance.
Ability to provide technical solutions to complex engineering problems.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience, Master’s degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
Degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field.
ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
