Inventory Supervisor, Clinical Research Environment-Full Time, w/ Benefits, Portland, Oregon (OR)

As a Supervisor, Inventory at ICON, you will oversee the inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking, organization, and distribution of supplies and materials for clinical trials.
What You Will Do:
Your focus will be on coordinating clinical research delivery, resolving issues, and developing team capability.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and managing the inventory team, ensuring efficient tracking, storage, and distribution of clinical trial supplies and materials in accordance with study protocols.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless inventory management and timely delivery of supplies.
  • Implementing and monitoring inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the inventory management process.
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and a culture of continuous improvement in inventory practices.

Your Profile:
You will have solid clinical research experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, life sciences, or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or related roles within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
