Job description

Expert Spectral Integration Engineers, with specific expertise in integration and deployment of spectral exploitation tools that serve as the foundation for a spectral exploitation environment used by Image Scientists to process, analyze and exploit literal and non-literal data. The candidate(s) is responsible for the engineering and deployment of a spectral exploitation environment and its integration within the broader NSG TCPED Enterprise. The candidate(s) will work with systems engineers, image scientists and developers to ensure applications and systems interoperate to deliver end-to-end mission solutions and maintain the integrity of the system-of-system enterprise.
Duties may include:
  • Provides expert advice to the Government in the areas of relating vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.
  • Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
  • Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities.
  • Assists with the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.
  • Lead the establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation intended for image scientists to employ advanced tradecraft tools to process, analyze, and exploit literal and non-literal datasets.

Education and Experience
Required:
  • 18 years of experience AND bachelors degree or higher in a related STEM degree program -OR- 22 years of related equivalent additional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • A minimum of 5 years NGA program/project work experience
  • Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools
  • Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.

Desired:
  • Masters degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program.
  • INCOSE Expert Systems engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
  • Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture
  • Experience integrating solutions using advanced tradecraft tools used by NGA/ATS, such as Data Transformation Services and Full Spectrum Tool Kit
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Experience integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance and the willingness to sit for a CI polygraph, if needed
