SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

JOB LOCATION:  Temple, GA

TRAVEL:  5%

i3 Verticals is a leading software company dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are seeking a versatile professional who can blend Quality Assurance (QA) and Training Documentation responsibilities to support our professional services team.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and document test cases, test plans, SQL scripts, and scenarios to ensure software applications function according to user requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine software functionality, recommend improvements, and complete additional testing.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and testing processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Support the development team by clarifying requirements, assisting in prioritization, and validating that solutions meet business needs through user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, including application evaluations, testing methods, and implemented improvements.

Training Documentation Responsibilities:

  • Organize and assist with creating and maintaining user guides, training materials, and FAQs for internal and external users.
  • Develop step-by-step instructional content and video tutorials as needed.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is up to date with software changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a QA or technical writing role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analyzing data.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with QA tools (JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks.
  • Prior experience conducting user training or instructional design.
