Join HSQ Group, an HFW partner firm as a Project Manager in Private Sector Land Development and lead exciting projects to success! As a key player in our organization, you will oversee a team of at least two designers, ensuring the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in Civil 3D and stormwater management will be crucial in delivering high-quality results. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience, with a preference for candidates holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license, which offers higher pay. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and lead a team will be essential in maintaining strong client relationships and achieving project goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of land development projects, including planning, design, and implementation. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, as it will enhance communication with a diverse client base. This role demands a proactive leader who can navigate complex projects, mentor team members, and drive innovation. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of at least two designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize Civil 3D and stormwater management skills to develop and review project designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between clients, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, plans, and schedules, to support project tracking and decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
